In order to sell subscriptions for a steady income stream, it looks like M.S. Has in its updates fashioned software changes to kill off customer owned functional apps in old Office suites. I’m getting that’s what their extensive updates since October were at least partially intended to do. First no support, then sabotage the usefulness of the customer owned property. The trend is irreversible. For a steady income for software, it’s going to be subscriptions only.
